Between Lizzy Goodman’s written account Meet Me in the Bathroom and Piper Ferguson’s newly published photo collection Indie, Seen, the turn-of-the-millennium indie rock movement has officially been made to feel like a piece of history over the past couple years as each of the artists involved begin celebrating two-decade anniversaries for their most popular records. Ferguson’s hardcover photo book that arrived this past fall featured nearly 300 pages of portraits, live shots, and other candid photos from the past quarter century, with a foreword by Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr to boot.

It’s no surprise that Ferguson brought the goods to her “Hacked” episode, which airs this week on FLOOD FM. Alongside artists like Beck, The Strokes, Hot Hot Heat, and the pre-Walkmen ensemble Jonathan Fire*Eater, the playlist also features a few deeper cuts from the scene (VHS or Beta) and closes out with a tribute to the late Hepcat vocalist Greg Lee. Check out the episode every day this week (March 25 to 29) at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. only on FLOOD FM.
