This week, the AV Club reported that the popular “Mr. Garvey” sketch from Key & Peele will be adapted into a feature-length film titled…Substitute Teacher. In the recurring sketch, Keegan-Michael Key plays a stern, skeptical sub from the inner city who finds himself in a classroom full of white suburban teens.

Key and Peele will produce and star in the upcoming Paramount film, and their Comedy Central show writers Rich Talarico and Alex Rubensthe will write the script.

Substitute Teacher follows on the heels of another Key and Peele production already in the works called Keanu, which follows two friends who pose as drug dealers in order to find their lost cat. Production on Keanu will start this spring.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already, get yourself down to O-Shag-Hennessey’s office in the clip below.
