Ducktails, the solo project of Real Estate guitarist Matt Mondanile, has shared the video for “Headbanging in the Mirror,” the first single from his upcoming fifth LP St. Catherine. The video shows Mondanile exploring the scenic country roads of Southern California in an old Mercedes and vibing out to his own mellow jam so hard that he eventually falls asleep in the backseat.

Fun fact: according to Pitchfork, the video’s director, Rose Schlossberg, is JFK’s granddaughter. I guess if any indie musician had a Kennedy connection, it would be a member of Real Estate.
St. Catherine is out July 24 on Domino.
