In anticipation for its third full-length release, Currents, in July, Tame Impala has released four incredibly strong singles over the last few months. Today, the group’s track “‘Cause I’m A Man” got the trippy, ’90s computer screensaver–style animated video that it deserves.
Follow the winding path and look into the lives of several hollow men with various different “heads” throughout a blocky 3-D world while Kevin Parker’s sultry falsetto bleeds in and out. Halfway through the music video—directed by WEIRDCORE—a transparent woman appears and captivates the hearts of these men that “don’t always think” before they do. Power shifts and relationships deteriorate. Check it all out below.
