Brian Eno Nature

I’m not sure who this artist “Nature” is, but they seem to be scoring some high-level collaborations amongst the likes of Brian Eno, Aurora, and the late David Bowie (that must have been a tough one for Nature to keep locked away in the vault...I wonder if they told their friend Wind about it, or kept it a secret?). The new initiative was launched by The Museum for the United Nations, and the project is called Sounds Right. Its aim is to urge people to take action to help address climate change. Buddy...good luck.

“Throughout my life I’ve wondered—how I can return something to the places I’ve taken ideas from?” Eno shared of his feature. “Music started out as the sounds of the natural world, and Sounds Right creates a system to give back to nature, helping to preserve the planet so that it can continue to inspire us for years to come.”

Funds will be collected by the Eno-founded charity EarthPercent and directed to threatened ecosystems around the world. Check out the announcement on the official Bowie IG account below, and stream the field-recording-heavy collabs here.
