Fat Dog—known to some, namely me, as the Phattest Dawgs—have announced their highly anticipated debut album, appropriately titled WOOF. It’s set to drop on September 6 (holy shit we’re already announcing September albums) via Domino Records. In conjunction with this most excellent news, the band has shared a new single with the predictably swell “Running.”

On the track, Fat Dog conjure up a spooky post-punk thriller built around icy synths, pulsing hi hats, and frontman Joe Love’s unforgettable vocals. The track quickly morphs into a delirious dancefloor rebellion, the sort of song that soundtracks a truly horrifying club night.

As bands often do, Fat Dog have also shared that they’ll be hitting the road in support of WOOF. Having caught their captivating FLOODfest set (in VIP, mind you...I'm very important), this is a show you do not want to miss. Because next time you’re at the pub all your friends will be discussing what a great show it was and when you reveal that you didn’t go, they will laugh at you and call you a skinny cat.

Check out the “Running” video below, and pre-order WOOF. here.
