Mogwai “Helicon 1” video

Widescreen post-rockers Mogwai formed twenty years ago in Glasgow. To celebrate the anniversary, they’re releasing a massive boxed set of rarities and album tracks called Central Belters. The set pulls material from throughout the band’s history, from 1997’s Mogwai Young Team to last year’s Rave Tapes. The 3CD/6LP set also includes the 20-minute single “My Father My King.”

The band have also released a video for the 1997 single “New Paths to Helicon Pt. 1” (known in band lore as “Helicon 1”) via Noisey, which you can see below along with Central Belters‘ track list.
