2015. Crystal Castles

When Alice Glass announced that she would be leaving Crystal Castles towards the end of last year, it seemed like the Canadian electro-pop outfit was no more. However, Ethan Kath has recently revived the project and has been releasing stand-alone tracks under the Crystal Castles moniker with a brand-new voice attached to his beats.

This morning, Kath and Edith (vocals) dropped “Deicide”—nearly five minutes of pure dance floor joy drenched in memorable synth lines and intriguing digital glitches.

“Deicide” comes on the heels of “Frail,” which was released in April. Both tracks will apparently be featured on an upcoming Crystal Castles full-length.
