2015. Conan Mad Max

Everyone who cares about comics is heading down to San Diego right now for the first day of 2015’s Comic-Con International. While thousands of people head to the SoCal city from across the country, LA residents (and beloved talk show hosts) Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter decided to burn some rubber and road trip to the convention via the I-5.

What better way to make your presence on the freeway known than by helming a Mad Max: Fury Road-style caravan? To introduce his week-long stint of filming Conan in San Diego for the convention, O’Brien, Richter, and the Basic Cable Band hopped aboard their own Doof Wagon bound for Comic-Con and donned the costumes of the Doof Warrior, Immortan Joe, and the War Boys, respectively.

Unfortunately, O’Brien’s guitar shredding drowns out the sound of Richter’s GPS and the gang ends up on the side of the California highway. Don’t worry, there’s nothing a little silver spray paint won’t fix!
