The indie-rock gentlemen of Real Estate know how to keep busy. Since the release of their third LP Atlas last year, guitarist Matthew Mondanile has been hard at work on his latest solo album as Ducktails, and bassist Alex Bleeker has been busy covering the Grateful Dead with his band the Freaks.

Now, the group’s frontman Martin Courtney has stepped out with solo material of his own. His new song “Vestiges” was produced by Woods member Jarvis Taveniere, and is available as a free download on SoundCloud. According to Courtney, he’s been working on new solo material for the past year-and-a-half between Real Estate tours. If that’s not hinting at an upcoming solo LP, then I’ll be damned.

Check out the new song below. Real Estate fans will recognize the mellow, melodic guitar work and easygoing melodies.
