“Make the best show that you feel needs to be made,” Trevor Noah says Jon Stewart told him when the latter turned over the reins to The Daily Show. “He didn’t say, ‘You need to make my show,'” Noah recently told The New York Times. “He specifically said: ‘Make your show.'”

Now, a week ahead of Noah’s September 28 premiere, we have a taste of what that show will be. Today, Comedy Central announced the rebooted Daily Show‘s first week of guests. Comedian Kevin Hart, who apparently has “amazing announcements” on the horizon, will kick things off on Monday night, while Whitney Wolfe, the co-founder of Tinder and CEO of Bumble, will appear on Tuesday. Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie will give us our first chance to hear Noah’s Jersey accent on Wednesday, and Ryan Adams will close out the week.

While the first week of Noah’s Daily Show may seem pretty similar to an average week of the Daily Show we’ve come to know and love, it’s a far cry from Stewart’s first week, when the guests were Michael J. Fox, Sandra Bernhard, Tracey Ullman, and Gillian Anderson—no slouches themselves, but certainly a far cry from the politicians, CEOs, and thought leaders who would provide Stewart with his most memorable moments.

Trevor Noah’s Daily Show premieres next Monday, September 28, on Comedy Central.
