It’s been a couple of months now since Wilco surprise-dropped Star Wars on us, and from the very first post-release show, they’ve dedicated themselves to feeling the new record out live every night. And it makes sense: Star Wars is the band’s freshest, most urgent set of recordings since 2004’s A Ghost is Born.

Along with Nashville guitar wizard Williams Tyler, the Chicago stalwarts rolled into Austin for a two-night stand (plus an appearance at Waterloo), and our Suzanne Cordeiro was on hand to capture the second night. Check out what she found below.
