M Train—Patti Smith‘s second book and the follow up to the incredible Just Kids—is out today, and while that might seem like a major achievement for any author (and the perfect reason for a long vacation), Smith shows no signs of slowing down. Beyond her M Train book tour, which kicks off tonight in New York, Smith has recently revealed that she’s already got several new stories in the pipeline.

At the New Yorker festival this weekend, Smith detailed a few more books that she’s been working on including another autobiography (focusing on her relationship with her husband Fred “Sonic” Smith), a novel for young adults, and a detective caper that starts in London. When discussing these prospective new works on the horizon, Smith noted that these three projects are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her literary output:

I’m always just working. I have tons and tons and tons of unpublished material. I’m going to be like Dorothy Parker when I die. People are going to go, ‘”Holy shit, it’s totally indecipherable.”

M Train is out now via Knopf.
