The first full-length trailer for Joel and Ethan Coen‘s Hail, Caesar! seems to promise just about everything you could want from a Coen Brothers comedy: men in suits a size too small, synchronized dancing, George Clooney with bad hair. There’s even a rug and a little dog with the potential to micturate thereupon.

While the WWII-era espionage drama Bridge of Spies was written by the Coens, Hail, Caesar! is the first film the duo have directed since 2013’s quietly stormy Inside Llewyn Davis. Clooney plays the wonderfully named Baird Whitlock, an A-list celebrity working for a classic Hollywood studio who is kidnapped during the filming of a period piece (hence the title—though, this being the Coens, those two words and two punctuation marks are sure to mean much more). Josh Brolin‘s Eddie Mannix is charged with retrieving Whitlock from a mysterious group calling themselves The Future, who demand $100,000 in a weirdly Andersonian letter.

In addition to Clooney and Brolin, Hail, Caesar! also features Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Jonah Hill, Frances McDormand, and Channing Tatum, who shows up fully clothed (though still in a sailor outfit).

Don the laurel and watch the trailer for yourself below.
