Neon Indian Slumlord Rising.

We’ve all been there. You’re out for a nice night on the town with your gimp when things suddenly go all Grand Theft Auto in the discotheque and bam: night ruined. That’s the #relatable tale told in the wildly fun new short film Slumlord Rising from retro dance-master Neon Indian, aka Alan Palomo.

The film, which Palomo directed with Tim Nackashi, serves as the music video for “Slumlord,” a standout track from Neon Indian’s newly released third album VEGA INTL. Night School. It’s part of a new feature from Yours Truly that gives an in-depth look at the making of a new record. Check out the short film below.
