Sometimes, the best view of San Francisco is from outside of it. That’s where The Mantles are now—hanging in Oakland, playing with mirrors, and getting just the right reflection of their surroundings to bring us All Odds End, their third LP, and first since bassist Matt Bullimore and keyboardist Carly Putnam joined the group.

In celebration of the release, the band has shared the video (premiered via Impose) for the single “Doorframe,” which was directed by drummer Virginia Weatherby. Weatherby—who has anchored the group since 2007, and was previously in the dearly missed Art Museums—does a nice job of setting a vibe and creating a weird world on the dock and in the park, kind of like a paisley version of Eyes Without a Face.
