Richard Terfry, under his most recognized moniker Buck 65, released his first album in three years in late September and it has certainly exposed the artist in all of his emotional wreckage as he picked up the pieces of his broken marriage. Neverlove is as much of an experiment in vulnerability as it is a test of relying upon others to help you sift through the debris. “Love Will Fuck You Up” may be the album’s strongest expression of that exercise as it not only proclaims that, yes, love will indeed fuck you up, but it also features Terfry’s friend Francesca Anderson by his side.

The video for “Love Will Fuck You Up” is a live performance by Terfry and Anderson, standing within a circle of stacked chairs at a closed piano bar. Dressed to the nines, the duo bounce and sway as they make sure to remind you of the repercussions of what can (and probably will) happen if your lover leaves you.

You can snag your very own copy of Neverlove on iTunes or Amazon. Or if you’re into crisp vinyl, you can get that one here.
