It’s been a big 2015 for Unknown Mortal Orchestra, whose Multi-Love was one of the best-reviewed albums of the first half of the year. Now, the group are capping things off with a new video, for the understated album track “Necessary Evil.”
The clip, which was illustrated and directed by Sean Solomon, will air during Adult Swim’s “Toonami” programming block on November 21, but you can see it below. “The video is an abstract love story about two characters whose insecurities and paranoia eventually drive them apart,” Solomon said in a press release. “I tried to show both character’s perspectives using elements from the lyrics. I had a team of amazing animators and friends.”
