2015. The Libertines by Roger Sargent

Earlier this fall, The Libertines released their first album in over ten years—the solid Anthems for Doomed Youth. Because of this comeback, Pete Doherty’s formerly ragtag bunch are back in the news and, this time, using their fame (and name) to raise money for charity.

In honor of November being National Charity Month, London’s garage-rock kings are auctioning off ten boxes of specially commissioned Libertines Taylors of Harrogate tea to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Want to get your hands on one of these rare boxes? All you have to do is donate at least £2 here to be in the drawing. As of right now, the quartet has raised £3,240.50 for the UK charity.

With each box containing 160 tea bags, you’ll have to schedule when to have a cuppa while listening to The Libs. We suggest a brew while playing “Vertigo.”
