Last week, the FLOOD Gallery was transformed by graffiti artist Sket One into a holy place of worship for everything Star Wars. The exhibit’s opening reception (for the literally awesome Resurrection: A Star Wars Influenced Art Show) featured some of Sket One’s most angelic and ornate visual mashups of Christian iconography and everything from a galaxy far, far away.

Fans of Sket’s art were able to meet the man behind the golden Darth Vader statues while checking out everything from Imperial Eucharists and a full Star Wars prayer candle kneeling station to massive AT-AT Galactic Empire flags in the style of California’s iconic golden bear. Art collectors and Sci-Fi fans mingled over a drink provided by our wonderful beverage sponsors: Pabst Blue Ribbon and RESQWATER.

Check out photos from the night below and make sure to stop by the FLOOD Gallery this week to check out the exhibit for yourself. Resurrection is open to the public until Wednesday, November 25. The gallery will be open from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
