A few months ago, Eleanor Friedberger released a one-off single called “False Alphabet City,” which was created for the film False Alphabets. It seemed like maybe that would be it for now, but luckily for us, she was just shifting into gear. An album announcement and lead single came soon after, and today we have the second track, along with the dates to a massive tour.
“Sweetest Girl,” the guitar-driven new song, is accompanied with an experimental video composed of manipulated outtake images from the cover shoot for New View, the upcoming LP. Directed by Joe DeNardo, it’s like a photoshop tutorial from a maniac. Check that out, along with the North American tour info, below.
