Kendrick Lamar does “Untitled 2” on Fallon

New year, new Kendrick. A week after premiering his God is Gangsta short film, Kendrick Lamar showed up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to debut a new song backed by his band (and not, to the disappointment of hip-hop heads everywhere, The Roots). Kendrick also sat down for an interview with Fallon, in which they talked about To Pimp a Butterfly, our favorite album of 2015.

You can watch the performance below, but we’d advise you not to hold your breath for a new release. The track, entitled “Untitled 2,” seems to follow the precedent Kendrick set when he debuted “Untitled” on The Colbert Report and promptly forgot its existence.
