Ryan Pollie has quietly put out one of the best debuts of 2014, and now his project Los Angeles Police Department has its first, very fitting music video for “Enough Is Enough.” The video, which premiered over at Stereogum, features Pollie casually hanging out in backyards and patios, shades on, lens flare up—generally a pretty chill time all around.

If you haven’t had the fortune to come across Los Angeles Police Department, take a listen to the stream of the full record below. A thoughtful, stunningly crafted album, Pollie’s tracks are ostensibly a sweet, intimate set about pining for a lady, but the results of his confessional leave a listener far more inspired than melancholy. Atmospheric and introspective, this is a lo-fi experiment done right, that doesn’t let its limitations become restraints.

Pollie has a fall tour supporting Avi Buffalo and you can pick up physical copies of Los Angeles Police Department through Forged Artifacts (for the vinyl) and Chill Mega Chill (for the tapes).
