Earlier this week, we declared Santigold’s 99¢ one of our Most Anticipated Records of 2016. And even though her new release date is only a week away, Santi has slaked our thirst with a new video for album track “Chasing Shadows.” The clip, which was directed by Vampire Weekend‘s Rostam Batmanglij (who dropped a video of his own yesterday), finds Santi sitting down to a nice solitary holiday dinner and relaxing in front a TV in a way that won’t fill you with existential dread whatsoever.
In conjunction with the new video, Santigold has also launched a new infomercial on her site; it’s the latest in a series of infomercials she’s creating for each of 99¢‘s tracks. You can check that out by clicking around on the image of the album cover here.
