2016. Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy flavors

While it’s still a little too early to start preparing for their favorite spring holiday, Vermont ice cream wizards Ben & Jerry continue to make magic with delicious and addictive results. (Come back to us, BRRR-ito!) Today, the duo has given a whole new group of people reason to rejoice—they’ve introduced a brand-new line of non-dairy ice creams. These non-dairy frozen desserts are all made with almond milk along with other fair trade ingredients, which makes them not only good for lactose intolerant individuals (we see you, Jon Stewart), but completely vegan certified as well.

Non-dairy treats seem to be right in line with the brand that now has a frozen yogurt line and a craft beer collaboration, but Ben & Jerry hadn’t really thought about crafting these desserts—which include classic flavors like Chunky Monkey and Chocolate Fudge Brownie along with new concoctions like Coffee Caramel Fudge and P.B. & Cookies—until they received a ton of feedback from distraught fans on the Internet:

We asked you. Lots of you. Some of you are committed to a vegan lifestyle, while others can’t or would rather not eat dairy. And all of you are missing the indulgent frozen delights you once enjoyed. We knew that with some hard work and experimentation we could deliver the taste and creamy texture you’ve been craving. So we did.

Take that, Change.org! Now watch this informational video to see how these frozen desserts were created while we drool on our keyboards.
