2016. Kanye West and Kyle Mooney on SNL

The saga of Kanye West‘s new album The Life of Pablo continues. If you haven’t been following West’s tornado of tweets this three-day weekend, then we’ll quickly catch you up. On Thursday, the musician hosted an intense fashion show/listening party for his highly anticipated seventh LP, which seemed to break Tidal‘s live-streaming abilities as well as the brains of everyone in that room. Everyone patiently awaited the news that The Life of Pablo was available for purchase later that day as promised, but that announcement never came. On Friday, West dropped “30 Hours” and said that the album would be released at some point that day. That also never happened.

This weekend, West was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live and he took the time to premiere two new tracks on the long-running sketch show—”Highlights” featuring guest appearances by The-DreamYoung Thug, El Debarge, and Kelly Price, and “Ultralight Beam,” which also brought Kirk Franklin and Chance the Rapper to the stage. At the end of his second performance, West announced that The Life of Pablo was finally complete and available on his website and Tidal. This was true for a brief moment of time—and you are still able to stream TLOP on Tidal—but West has pulled the album to fix “Wolves.” A new version of the album with the updated track has not appeared yet, but it does seem like West has been really busy asking Mark Zuckerberg for a billion dollars on Twitter because he’s $53 million in debt.

Watch both of West’s appearances on SNL along with a pretaped sketch he appeared in below.

The Life of Pablo is currently semi-available. Stream the incomplete version on Tidal now.
