Happy National Cat Day! Perhaps you’re lucky enough to share your life with a little fluff ball, but if you live in a cat forbidden apartment (or your roommate is “allergic”) and happen to find yourself missing the companionship of one furry feline today, Uber has got you covered. They’re gonna give you some kittens.
Well, for only fifteen minutes, but still. The ride-sharing service has teamed up with Cheezburger and the ASPCA for its second year of delivering cuddly fur balls to your doorstep in participating cities. $30 gets you fifteen minutes of playtime, and if that’s not enough time for you, most of the kittens are adoptable.
Here’s how it works:
1. Open your Uber app from 12 p.m.–4 p.m.
2. Request the “KITTENS” option in your app. In NYC or DC? Enter promo code kittensnyc or kittensdc to unlock the option in your app.
3. Once the kittens arrive, you and your friends will get to enjoy fifteen minutes of kitten cuteness! (PRO TIP: Make sure to have an enclosed space purrrfect for playtime! In New York City, kittens can only be delivered to offices.)
4. The best part? In most cities, kittens are eligible for adoption.
