LA locals (and natives) Local Natives are headlining our second annual FLOODfest Chicago this weekend, so we decided to make their trip out something special. This morning, we teamed up with Spotify and Virgin America to treat a plane full of the airline’s flyers to an in-flight performance from the indie rock crew, who are fresh from a performance on Conan yesterday, and prepping for not only our fest on Saturday, but also for a little festival you might have heard of called Lollapalooza.

Thanks to some crazy, voodoo satellite Wi-Fi technology from ViaSat that Virgin America now has on their flights, the performance was live-streamed from inside the plane, which you can play back below. Shoutout to the pilot for avoiding any turbulence during the guys’ set, and to the baby for holding it together.

To see Local Natives, Classixx, and Baio at our FLOODfest on Saturday, RSVP here.
