Though it doesn’t go down until the first week of November, it’s never too early to start thinking about Iceland Airwaves, the five-day festival that spreads its surprisingly diverse lineup across every bar, restaurant, and hair salon in downtown Reykjavik. In fact, this year’s fest is so big they had to add a second city—the far-north (as in, virtually in the Arctic Circle) town of Akureyri will be playing the role of co-host to the hundreds of bands, DJs, rappers, and conductors that descend on Iceland for Airwaves.

While many (many) names are still to come, the festival also announced their initial batch of performers today. In addition to rising British singer (and Gorillaz collaborator) Benjamin Clementine, Kid Koala cohort Emiliana Torrini will appear with The Colorist, Arab Strap will make the jaunt over from Scotland, and Airwaves 2016 standout GKR will once again serve up his swagger-moping rap for a hometown crowd. The complete list of announced names is below.
