Today’s the day that Yacht’s new EP Where Does This Disco? is out, and to celebrate, the band has shared a new track from the release. “Terminal Beach” is a booming, scuzzed-out pop tribute to science fiction writer J. G. Ballard. The track is driven by a trance-inducing rhythm, an Eno-inspired synth solo, and some really, really big guitars. Basically, it’s music to dance away the apocalypse.

Following Works Like Magic,” “Terminal Beach” is the second track to be released from the EP, which is a quick four-track affair. The release is also deliberately only available in a digital format, meaning that should you find yourself asking the question posed by the EP’s title, you’re probably talking about something else.

Listen to “Terminal Beach” below.
