Amason—a five-piece comprised of members of Miike Snow, Dungen, Little Majorette, Hajen, and Idiot Wind—has a roster that reads like a Swedish, indie version of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Unsurprisingly, their  single “Duvan” does not disappoint and serves a sultry antidote to any mid-week blues.

Echoes of a keyboard and low, rumbling drums beat just below the surface of lead singer Amanda Bergmann’s velvety vocals. There’s a distinctly “Rhiannon”-esque AM quality to the way Bergmann’s voice picks up momentum, hitting those peaks with the combined vocal prowess of Stevie Nicks and Sade.

The band’s debut album, Sky City, isn’t set to be released until early 2015, but you can download “Duvan” on October 28 to hold you over until then.
