In anticipation for a new EP coming out next year, Teen Daze has dropped a new track, “Reykjavik, January 2015.”

The dreamy electronic track is a slow-burner, starting with a few simple piano keys until being swept up in a lush swirl of bass and claps. Like the vistas of its Icelandic namesake, the track is an ever-changing landscape of different, building terrains, otherworldly and serene at the same time.

Of his new music, the Canadian artist says, “My main goal with this release was to create something that lived somewhere between the new age and ambient music I was entrenched in, with more straight-ahead electronic music.  I’ve always loved the idea of creating music that I could hear at a club, but also fall asleep to.  This EP is an experimentation in that concept.”

The A World Away EP is out on January 13, 2015.
