Following the release of 2011’s Let England Shake, PJ Harvey travelled extensively around the world with photographer and filmmaker Seamus Murphy as they prepared content for a book, her writing poetry and him taking pictures.

That book, titled The Hollow of the Hand, is now finished and will be released by Bloomsbury on October 20, 2015. One of the poems from that collection, “The Guest Room,” is available to read over at the New Yorker, where you can also listen to a clip of Harvey reciting it in all her soft-spoken glory.

In addition to her recent cover of Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand,” this might be the closest thing to a new release from Polly Jean in the near future, so enjoy it while you can.
