You may know Sam Spiegel from a number of different places: as one half of the North American/South American production duo N.A.S.A., from his musical direction for his brother Spike Jonze’s films and commercials, or from his video direction on Wu-Tang In Space Eating Impossible Sliders. Wearing the former-est hat, the Grammy nominee is releasing a new single with the help of pioneering Jamaican dancehall artist and Childish Gambino collaborator Aynzli Jones, whose vocals take the edge off the whooping El-P-like “Champagne.”

“‘Champagne’ is the type of music you’d be listening to on the Uber ride home: you’re drunk and you just smoked some weed and you feel amazing,” explains Spiegel. “It’s just straight LCD, and I love it. A sexy, spacey jam for stoners and lovers. I hope there are some sexy dance floor scenes, and some babies get made to this one.

Listen to the single via SoundCloud below before it makes its way to other streaming platforms this Friday. You can check out the full Wu-Tang In Space series here.
