As the year winds down, the British pop group Ten Fé are gearing up for an exciting 2019 with the release of their sophomore album, Future Perfect, Present Tense, slated for a March 8 roll out. Originally formed by the duo of Leo Duncan and Ben Moorhouse, the five-piece play a brand of ’80s-era soft rock that seamlessly incorporates their interests in artists as diverse as Patti Smith and Neu!—the few samples from FPPT we’ve already heard being no exception.

Today we’re getting another taste of the new record with the track “Echo Park,” a four-minute War-on-Drugs-esque groove to ease any holiday anxieties. “The song was written shortly after getting back from our tour of the States last year,” the band explains. “We’d spent the last few days staying in an apartment in Echo Park, and hanging out in different places around [LA], always driving around with the radio on. Our heads were still very much in that place when we returned home, and the more sultry feel of this song was evocative of that time. It’s a conversation between two friends, one offering his advice to the other. It’s in the spirit of being a band out in LA—loved up, blissed out, getting each other’s backs at the same time.”

Along with the track, you can find their upcoming US and European tour datesand some photo highlights from their most recent UK expeditionbelow.
