LA’s Criminal Hygiene have been invading SoCal garages for nearly a decade, and “Rearrange Me” has been a part of their arsenal since the beginning. On their forthcoming sophomore album, the reckless rock quartet have finally deemed the track ready to be banged into shape for a proper release. As the centerpiece for Run It Again, “Rearrange Me” has been shaped into a crisp, energetic anthem about six guitars short of a Diarrhea Planet single. “You say I’m inconsistent,” insists vocalist Michael Fiore, “have to admit, I’m fucking persistent.” We agree with the latter.

“We’re running it again because of popular demand,” Fiore explains of the track, also giving literal insight to the record’s title. “Plus, the original version was out of tune. Some say that’s the charm of it, but I think we did better this time around.”

He concludes: “I wrote the song sitting in a treehouse, which doesn’t mean much, but it’s a fact.”

Run It Again is available March 1 via Dangerbird. You can preorder it here.
