Watching Diplo jump on the currently red-hot crossover country trend (a.k.a. “The Yeehaw Agenda”) is too funny to be mad about. Just look at the video for “So Long,” the DJ/producer’s new country-flavored project, Thomas Wesley. Opening with scenes of a flannel and trucker hat–wearing Diplo dropping a saddle on his foot and doing shots with Guy Fieri feels like a Shia LaBeouf–level troll.
Packed with scenes of Diplo’s triumphant stand at this year’s Stagecoach Festival, the clip finds him rocking out with country stars like Sam Hunt, while Cam is on hand to provide the song’s outstanding vocals. Dwight Yoakam, Billy Ray Cyrus, and the man behind all of the country crossover madness, Lil Nas X himself, are among the many celebrity cameos.
Watch and marvel at Diplo’s audacity below.
