DYLAN LEBLANC

Dylan LeBlanc is ready to turn it up. “I wanted to make a more edgy rock and roll album, so I gave it a shot,” he explained back in March with the announcement of his forthcoming full-length, Renegade.

On the latest song from the album, however, the singer-songwriter has turned down the rock edge and cranked up the swelling orchestra to better emphasize an increasingly important point.

“‘Honor Among Thieves’ is a song about remembering where we came from as a country and as a people,” LeBlanc reveals in a press statement. “Especially when we put people behind bars and take their children for trying to seek a better life for themselves.” Listen to the track below.

The song is important enough to LeBlanc that he’s also recorded a special acoustic version. Listen to it below.

Renegade is set for release June 7 on ATO Records. LeBlanc will support the album on an extensive headline tour this summer, with shows at Los Angeles’ Troubadour, Brooklyn’s Rough Trade, and Nashville’s Basement East. See the complete tour itinerary here.
