Perry Farrell is freaking out. The longtime Jane’s Addiction frontman has shared “Pirate Punk Politician,” the first track from his forthcoming solo full-length, Kind Heaven.

Calling the track “a good old fashioned protest song about today’s strongmen and their tactics of oppression,” Farrell conjures distant memories of Jane’s Addiction with the song’s bombastic chorus and sound-the-alarm lyricism. Watch the video below.

The singer and alt-visionary will take the Kind Heaven Orchestra on a tour of intimate and immersive concert experiences across North America starting with an extended New York City residency that launches June 7, which is also the day that Kind Heaven will be released.
