Well, this is unexpected: Apple is bringing back the iPod touch. The company revealed that the new iPod will come in a variety of colors (gray, gold, silver, pink, blue, and red) with three different storage options: 32GB ($199), 128GB ($299), and 256GB ($399).

The units also boast an A10 Fusion chip processor, the same found in an iPhone 7. Thanks to the upgraded processor, the iPod can also host Group FaceTime calls.

At this point, it’s not completely clear why people would purchase this iPod instead of just using their smartphone for tunes. If Apple really knew the kind of nostalgia we craved, they’d bring back the music-only iPod with the click wheel from our youths.
