When we last checked in with soulful shredder and master of NPR’s Tiny Desk Naia Izumi, he was serenading his adopted home of Los Angeles from a carwash rooftop—a bold performance more in line with his recent signing to Sony Music Masterworks than the track’s title would have you believe.

Today, Izumi is following up his Original Tracks performance with a second, softer-spoken ballad custom-made for lazy Sunday mornings.

“Our Gravity” sees the songwriter at home in a distinctly ’70s-style living room, serenading a special someone, slow-dancing their way through brunch and other morning rituals. It’s a tender track with an equally thoughtful video featuring an intimate guitar lesson and an especially affectionate conclusion.
