Fresh off the heels of “Might Be Right,” the first single off their forthcoming third album and Elektra debut, the power pop quintet White Reaper have shared a second track, teeming with electric guitar solos. Further leaning into a glam influence following the success of 2017’s World’s Best American Band, the new track sounds like it could’ve been recorded live at Budokan in ’78.

The “Real Long Time” visual was directed by Lance Bangs (Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Neutral Milk Hotel, Arcade Fire, Pavement), and features the rockers in grainy home video footage surrounded by things like books, chandeliers, and mirrors. “How come what you want and what you get always seem to be two different things?” complains lead vocalist Tony Esposito. We have no good answers for him. Watch it below.

This fall, White Reaper goes on tour with The Dirty Nil and The Nude Party, plus special guests The Paranoyds, Criminal Hygiene, and Wombo joining on select dates. Most recently, they’ve shared stages with the likes of The Killers, Spoon, and Weezer, hitting up fests like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits.

Now it’s finally time for them to headline. White Reaper’s You Deserve Love tour kicks off October 3. See dates below and get more details here
