Twenty-year-old indie pop songstress Clairo took a break from touring North America with Khalid to drop another track from her forthcoming debut album, IMMUNITY

“Sofia” was co-produced by Rostam, and as described by Clairo herself, it’s “a song about my sexuality and about having a relationship with another woman. It’s also touching on celebrity crushes with older women like Sofia Coppola and Sofia Vergara.”

“Sofia, know that you and I / shouldn’t feel like a crime,” Clairo coos on the track, perhaps in reference to the taboo still surrounding May-December relationships and queer love stories. Listen below.

Previously released shoegaze-y tunes off the new album include “Bags” and “Closer to You.”
