Having already released one of the best albums of 2019 (so far), Little Simz was the latest to knock out a quality cover for Australian radio station triple j. Along with her recent single “Selfish,” the U.K. rapper dropped a subdued take on Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.,” singing both chorus and verses herself (minus the “laughing gas” one) like a true karaoke champ.

Swapping the uneasy energy of the original with a soft rock guitar and very un-cartoonish vocals, Simz put her own spin on the decade-and-a-half-old single that finally gave eighth graders who were into Franz Ferdinand and their System of a Down–loving peers something to talk about. While “fun” may be too vibrant a word for these beats nearly chill enough to study to, Simz seems to be enjoying herself, capping off each chorus’ “Everybody in” with some audience involvement (“You in?”).
