A couple of years ago, All Eyes West opened up a few shows for Bob Mould, the alternative rock maestro responsible for the seminal groups Hüsker Dü and Sugar. That pairing makes a lot of sense, as the Chicago band’s self-titled 2011 debut is just the sort of album that you would put on the turntable after listening to, say, Copper Blue or Flip Your Wig.
Coming in a few weeks, All Eyes West will have a new album to toss into the mix with the release of their sophomore effort Doomer. Ahead of that release, FLOOD is premiering the band’s frenetic new video for “Lie in Wait” (directed by Murphy Welch with Lowlife) which you can check out in all its pick-sliding glory below.
Doomer is out January 27 via Jump Start Records.
