Two of rock’s most formidable frontmen from different generations come face to face this weekend, as Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig welcomes ’80s legend Huey Lewis of Huey Lewis and the News fame on his Time Crisis radio show.

Recorded in Los Angeles earlier this month, Koenig got Lewis to talk about his long and illustrious career ranging from late-’60s San Francisco through Huey Lewis and the News’ run. They also delved into Lewis’ recent experiences with hearing loss and subsequent retirement from the band’s still-robust touring schedule. We’re fully expecting them to talk about Lewis’ time in the band Clover, too, and how most of the group played on Elvis Costello’s debut album, My Aim is True. That’s the hope, anyway.

The show will air on Beats 1 at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT, October 20, available here.
