Last week we were treated to a Blood Orange–directed video for Beck’s ambient Hyperspace single “Uneventful Days,” and today we’re seeing more from the budding filmmaker—this time for a track from his own catalog. “Dark & Handsome” comes from Dev Hynes’ latest release as Blood Orange, the neo-soul–drenched mixtape Angel’s Pulse, whose hypnagogic undertones vibe surprisingly well with those of the latest chapter of Beck’s eventful career.
The video for the single is mostly comprised of footage of Hynes and friends vibing out in various SoCal settings, and features a brief literally phoned-in verse from Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bear. Soak up a few more minutes of summer bliss via the clip below.
