Clams Casino is all the way back. The New Jersey producer who quietly pioneered a stylistic new wave in hip-hop over the past decade has returned with an update on his signature sound. “Rune” is the first track off the artist’s forthcoming second full-length, Moon Trip Radio, which is set for release on November 7.

“I started posting stuff online ten years ago, and now younger kids that I listen to and reach out to work with will tell me they wouldn’t have started if it wasn’t for the stuff I made,” the producer born Mike Volpe told The Fader of his work, including production on pivotal early tracks by Lil B and A$AP Rocky, as well as his legendary Instrumentals mixtapes. “It’s a weird circle.”

The album announcement arrives with the first track from Moon Trip Radio, “Runes.” The lush instrumental is an update on Clams Casino’s euphoric sound, adding even more depth and space to his cinematic production style. Listen below.
