Next year, Peter Bjorn and John will be celebrating twenty years as a band, and what better way to mark the anniversary than a new LP? Endless Dream will be the ninth full-length from the outfit, set to drop March 13, and while lead single “Rusty Nail” saw the trio experiment with distorted vocals, the second cut, “Reason To Be Reasonable,” sounds more traditionally PB&J.
Arriving today with a video sequel to “Rusty Nail,” “Reasonable” showcases Peter Morén’s distinct vocals, which hop into striking falsetto on the memorable chorus. “I was aiming for a classic power-pop song with an updated PB&J twist,” Morén notes of the track. “It’s about when you’ve been in a relationship for a really long time, and you feel like it’s worth it. That can be applied to the band, too—a really long thing that keeps on giving.”
