With just under two weeks before its release date, Emily Yacina is sharing the third and final single from her fifth LP, Remember the Silver. The laid-back “Arcades & Highways” falls directly between the effervescent energy of “Gleaming” and the sedated instrumentation of “Bleachers,” with Yacina’s longing vocals sounding nearly out of place over such composed guitar and drums.

Her vocals, though, match her giddy lyrics, opening the track with a proposition: “Do you want to marry me / At the hotel by the airport before you have to leave?” Described by the artist as being about “the easy side of love,” the blissful scenarios outlined over the track’s three minutes only feel sad when you consider the separation anxiety they seem like they’ll inevitably precede.

Remember the Silver is out December 6, and you can pre-order it here. If you’re in New York, you can catch Emily’s release show December 7 at Union Pool in Brooklyn.
